I told you we’re getting back on it… we’ve got our own Vimeo account now and I’m slowly but surely uploading all the Xynthetic videos there, for y’all to see.

First up is the lil’ film that started it all, “DON’T”. It’s real old now and we no longer do the skating for the Xyn (thank god, look at us!) but it’s cool to look back and have a laugh at us all.

Yeap, that’s right, we’re not dead. The Xyn is just a bit slow right now, with us all over the place.

The Summer is coming soon though… long nights, lots of light… perfect skate weather!

In a nutshell, Xynthetic is a creative collective of artists, designers, photographers, filmmakers & skaters, with our roots in Skateboarding.

Based in the UK - Bristol, Leicester & Nottingham, we collaborate together to participate in all things creative, from exhibitions to films, live art to podcasts. Started back in 2001 by Gavin Strange, hand-painting skateboards in his friends garage, the Xyn family has grown over time into the 18-strong collective you know today.

Skateboarding’s an integral part of the xyn too, with hand-painting boards being the beginning and the core of what we do, not to mention the skaters who rep the family.

With resident filmmakers part of the crew too, we try to capture our artistic antics as much as possible on video, making short edits with the eventual goal of releasing a full-length video in the future.

To sum it all up, we love art, we love design, we love skating and we proberly love you.
