The mighty mighty Mr Jago has his very own solo show opening at the infamous Stolen Space gallery on Brick lane in the big LDN.
It opens with a private view tommorow (which I unfortunately can’t make, which is a proper gutter) and then opens properly this Friday 12th September until the 28th, so make sure you go and check it out - trust me, it’ll be amazing

As promised here are some of the pieces for the recent Belfast Xynthetic exhibition, with work from Sums, Rich T, Wheat Free, China Mike, Adam Lister and even abit of Jam Factory.
Although, like a muppet I forgot to photosnapgraph all of them, but we hope that these will be enough to give your good eyes a look over..

Well, tommorow is the big day - myself, WheatFree, Klingatron & Pone will be hopping on slEazyJet and touching down in Belfast!
There’s going to be brand new artwork from 45RPM, Klingatron, China Mike, Sums, WheatFree, Richt, Pone, WASTE & JamFactory plus live art at the exhibition opening from those of us that are attending!
Then, in the evening, there’s going to be a seperate event called ‘SweetTalk’ where the best creative folk in the land (and little me) talk about about how we got where we are today, the paths we’ve chosen.
My presentation is all ready, with a tonne of slides and the title of “How the flip did that dude get there? - An Incoherent Waffle by Gavin Strange”, so if you’re around the Belfast area, come on down to check out both the exhib and talks!
The finer details are below…

Good friend of Xynthetic and a personal old friend of mine, Adam Lister, just sent this awesome image through via email! Xyn tattoo steez….

Sick right!? Adam’s going to re-do this bad boy large for a guest artist spot at the Belfast show, so be sure to keep an eye out for that!
Sorry it’s been a while since the last post, we’ve all been real busy preparing our pieces for the forthcoming Transcend exhibition next weekend the 26th @ The Waterfront, Belfast!
We’re all using the same format, A2 paper, for a nice crisp presentation, here’s a teaser of what’s been done already by China Mike & Sums…

So, if you’re in Belfast next Saturday the 26th, be sure to come on down to the waterfront from 4.30pm to check out the work plus live art from Klingatron, Pone, WheatFree & Myself!
That’s right folks, the stencil master Klingatron will be in Leicester the weekend of the 28th / 29th June, as he’s part of the ‘Sole Elements’ art show which is taking place @ 2Funky, Leicester
It’s free and you can check out the work on Saturday or Sunday so come on down! Here’s the flyer for your eyeballs:

Nothing is set in stone yet, but it looks like we’re going to have just one more exhibition to finish off 2008!
We’re hopefully going to have a show at The GRV gallery in Edinburgh, which is a sweet looking space We’re going to go polar opposite of the carbon & chemicals idea, so super hi-tech for this one, keep your eyes peeled!
Pone’s edited together a lil’ clip of the Live Art shenanigans that went down at the Nottingham Carbon & Chemicals show!
Here’s a few snaps of the how the show looks, hanging in Workshop… Be sure to go and check it out, it’s up until Friday May 2nd!

The opening night @ Workshop here in Bristol went fantastically well, we were so stoked with the turnout and posative reaction, so a MASSIVE thank you to everyone that took the time to come check out the show!
The work itself is up for a whole month, until Friday 2nd May so be sure to go and check it out at Workshop (1-2 Perry road, just down the road from 5050)

The wonderful Workshop store is the venue for the 3rd exhibition, and a damn fine place it is too! We can’t wait to pack it out with boards, prints & photos!
So why not come on down to the opening night tommorow, Friday 4th April @ 6pm to check out the work. There’s another 30 goodie bags up for grabs, which will hopefully each have a copy of a film Jonny aka M4KINOV has made about the whole Carbon & Chemicals experience! (depending if we can burn them in time!)
Here’s the details, I hope to see you tommorow night!
