Xyn fam member Danny Wainwright is one-half of the duo behind Bristols infamous Fifty Fifty store. After over 10 years being on Park Row, they’re making the move onto a prime spot on the super busy Park Street! It’s been a mamouth task for the boys but they’re nearly there, it opens this Friday the 26th September!

I’ve been snapping away at each stage of the build, here’s a few shots from the whole process…

For comparison, here’s the old 5050, which is emty albeit for the last few pieces of stock waiting to go to the new place…

I was lucky enough to have designed the new logo for the new-look store, and last night I created an animated loop to be projected onto the building opposite on the opening night… well tonight we did a test run…

BLAM! Be sure to come to to Park Street in Bristol, this Friday 26th September for the opening!!!

Pone managed to do this to his hand, just a week before he’s due to do some Live Art in Belfast…

Thanks to the guys @ Cromatics we’ve got some sweeeeeeet new stickers printed up…

Well, it’s just an idea in my head at the minute, a seed planted by a conversation in the drive home from Middlesbrough last week, but I’m very excited about the possability of having an actual Xynthetic store!

It’d be a tiny boutique-style place - with prints, tees and artwork from the whole Xynthetic family plus friends, and just a place where people could drop in, have a cuppa and a browse around (with maybe a tiny gallery too, adorn the wall with lots of artwork). It’d be based in Nottingham, sharing space with the WASTE boys studio / screenprinting space.

Anyways, it’s just a pipedream at the minute but something im hoping to make it a reality early next year, going to start sorting out this year, afterall - nothing ventured nothing gained!

What do you people think, would you people out there be into something like that? Sound off in the comments if you’d be so kind! 

Multi-talented media mogul Sam Taylor now kills it in writing form (if you read his blog then you’ll already know that anyway) as he penned the write up from the last Boardroom Competition which is on Page 130 - 133 of the current issue of Sidewalk magazine!!!

I’m super stoked to be sharing these with you… the prototype images for my forthcoming Vinyl toy, being produced by Crazy Label in Hong Kong!

These are early prototypes and the face graphics and colours will be tweaked but you get the idea, stay tuned for more info…

‘aye up ‘tinterweb world, just a quick hello to let you know what’s going on in the world of Xynthetic.

Sorry about the downtime a few weeks ago and lack of updates, I’m just so busy at the minute with JamFactory work and organizing the 3 Xyn shows next year it’s all a bit hectic.

Progress is happening with those shows, the flyers will be finished next week, we’ve got the cameras and blank boards and the dates all set in stone, so it’s just the creative process left to do!

Myself, Jonny & Pone are off to Dan & Norms studio in Nottingham tommorow to do the screenprinting - we’ve each got an A2 screen so expect lots of experimentation with colours and overprints from that, I can’t wait!
